JAKARTA - The road bump or road bump that caused a number of motorbikes to fall on Jalan Danau Sunter Selatan, Sunter Agung, Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta was finally dismantled.

Head of the North Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept., Harlem Simanjuntak, said that the North Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-dept. had carried out the demolition.

"It has been dismantled," said Herlem when confirmed by VOI, Thursday, August 25.

Harlem admitted that he did not know more clearly about the demolition. However, he suspected that the speed bump was too high, causing an accident at that location.

"Yes, maybe (too high). But the details go to Bina Marga, because the authority is not with us. We have the authority to install speed traps," he said.

Head of the North Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-dept., Ilham Raya, said that the speed bumps were built by his party. But now two speed bumps on the road have been dismantled.

He explained that there were four speed bumps that the Bina Marga Sub-Department had built on the road, and all of them would be dismantled.

"There are four points, two are dismantled," he concluded.
