Brimob Members Shouted To Journalists During Ferdy Sambo's Ethics Trial, 1st And 2nd Star Generals Of The National Police Also Fell Silent

JAKARTA - The moment of the trial of Inspector General Ferdy Sambo's code of ethics was accompanied by the angry actions of a Brimob member dressed in a green shirt. The incident took place at the Transnational Crime Center (TNCC) Building, Police Headquarters, Trunojoyo Street, South Jakarta, Thursday morning, August 25.

The action of the Brimob members was angry right in front of the code of ethics courtroom when the media crew was waiting for Inspector General Ferdy Sambo to arrive.

Wearing a mask, complete with sunglasses, the Brimob member pointed at the reporters while shouting.

"Oi reporters listen! If you don't want to be orderly, I don't care. Outside of all!" said the Brimob member.

Suddenly the room that had been bustling became silent for a moment. The Head of the Public Relations Division of the Police Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo and the Karopemmas of the Divhumas Polri Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan who were on the right side of the room were also silent.

As for the ethics trial, Inspector General Ferdy Sambo entered the courtroom as scheduled. The former Head of the National Police Propam Division was seen wearing an official uniform without the National Police emblem on the left chest.

This ethical trial resulted in the involvement of Inspector General Ferdy Sambo as a suspect in the premeditated murder case of Brigadier Yosua Hutabarat or Brigadier J.

In order to be accountable and transparent, the trial was directly monitored by the National Police Commission (Kompolnas).

In the case of Brigadier J's murder, the National Police have named five suspects. Apart from Inspector General Ferdy Sambo, the suspects are Richard Eliezer alias Bharada E, Ricky Rizal alias Bripka RR, Strong Maruf, and Putri Chandrawathi.

The five were charged with Article 340 subsidiary Article 338 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) and Article 56 of the Criminal Code.
