BULELENG - Two truck drivers, Muslimin and Miswan, fought until they fell into a 30-meter-deep ravine in Maying Village, Seririt, Buleleng Regency, Bali. The victim was evacuated by the Bali SAR team.

"To find out what happened, we still need statements from witnesses and crime scenes as well as supporting evidence," said Seririt Police Chief, Kompol Suwandra, Thursday, August 25.

The clash between the two truck drivers took place at around 22.30 WITA, Wednesday, August 24. When Muslims took stones from the excavations in Banjarsem Village, Miswan came with his wife.

Previously, Muslims had ordered stones from Miswan. But it turned out that what came was only the soil from the backfill. It is suspected that this matter became the root of resentment that caused a commotion between two truck drivers

"Muslims and Miswan are both workers in the same company and one boss. When the truck driven by Miswan came from Seririt and at that time the Muslims were on Jalan Mayong. Then the Muslims followed him from behind and immediately grabbed the truck driven by Miswan. Then the vehicle stopped," said Police Commissioner Suwandra.

After that, Muslimin got out of the truck carrying a tire wrench and beat Miswan. The two drivers fought each other until they fell into a ravine.

At that time Miswan was able to save himself because he was holding the wood. Meanwhile, Muslims fall into the abyss.

"The search was carried out and took a long time to bring in a SAR team, who finally found (Muslims) with abrasions and still unconscious," he said.

Meanwhile, the head of the Bali Basarnas, Gede Darmada, confirmed that his party was evacuating Muslims.

"At that time, the report that we received was that one victim fell and the residents could not find it because the ravine was quite deep, so they asked for SAR assistance," he said separately.

There were 8 personnel from the Buleleng SAR Post who evacuated the victims at around 00:40 WITA, Thursday, August 25.

"The joint SAR team found (Muslims) in the depths of the ravine at 01.20 WITA. His condition was weak and there were several abrasions and was taken to the Tangguwisia Pratama Hospital using a Seririt Police Sector vehicle for further treatment," said Darmada.
