Investigating Princess Rizieq Shihab's Marriage Permit, The Police Will Check The Tourism And Creative Economy Office

JAKARTA - The police will investigate the Jakarta Tourism and Creative Economy Agency (Parekraf) next week. The examination is related to the process of investigating a case of alleged violation of health protocol at the wedding of Rizieq Shihab's daughter.

"Next Monday, the action taken is sending a clarification invitation and conducting an interview with the Jakarta Provincial Tourism and Creative Economy Office," said Head of Public Relations Division of the National Police, Kombes Ahmad Ramadhan to reporters, Friday, November 20.

Later, in the examination, investigators will examine the marriage permit for Syarifah Najwa Shihab and Muhammad Irfan Alaydrus. Because during the COVID-19 pandemic, marriage respect must get permission from the Parekraf Service.

"The implementation of marriage during the transitional PSBB period is related to the implementation of weddings in the community," he said.

For your information, the DKI Jakarta Tourism and Creative Economy Office has the authority to issue permits to organize wedding respects during the pandemic.

In fact, the Parekraf Office also has the authority to impose sanctions on building managers who rent out places for receptions if they do not comply with regulations. The sanction is based on Governor Regulation number 51 of 2020 concerning the transitional PSBB.

Meanwhile, investigators have also rescheduled DKI Jakarta Deputy Governor Ahmad Riza Patria on Monday, November 23. This is because he had not attended the previous investigation agenda on the grounds that he was constrained by official activities.
