JAKARTA - Chairman of the Indonesian Child Protection Agency (LPAI) Seto Mulyadi said he would meet Inspector General Ferdy Sambo today. The goal is to ask permission to provide protection for his four children.

The statement was made after his meeting with the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police was completed.

"Right now, indeed, we are going to meet one of the children's parents, and we are going to the Mobile Brigade Headquarters to meet the father of these children," said Kak Seto to reporters, Tuesday, August 23.

"The first is to get permission to meet his son and daughter," he continued.

If they get permission later, Seto continued, his party will immediately meet with the four children of Ferdy Sambo and Putri Candrawati.

However, in providing protection, LPAI will cooperate with other related parties.

"If we get permission, God willing, tomorrow we will meet the children. Because we want to get it from the first source, and earlier it was stated that this is a mandate from the law, not what LPAI wants," he said.

In addition, Sis Seto asked that if it was decided that Putri Candrawati was later detained, it would be better if the place of detention was child-friendly.

That way, the four children of the second general could meet his mother.

"Yes, if the mother still has to be detained, please ask the child to be with the mother, but please keep the situation child-friendly, so we really prioritize the best for the child," said Seto.

Meanwhile, the children of Inspector General Ferdy Sambo and Putri Candrawati became victims of bullying in the aftermath of the Brigadier J murder case. The bullying took place on social media.
