Lost Angler Drowning On Teluk Naga Beach, Tangerang, Found Dead Stuck In Mangrove Forest

JAKARTA - Supriyadi (41) a fisherman who disappeared from drowning in the coastal waters of Muara Pertamina Village, Teluk Naga District, Tangerang Regency, Banten, was finally found dead on Tuesday, August 23.

The victim's body was found floating in the area around the mangrove forest approximately 1 NM (Nautica Miles) from the scene in Bagan Pantai, Muara Pertamina village.

"The joint SAR team carried out the evacuation process for the victims. Then the bodies of the victims were taken to the funeral home in Pesing Gadog RT 04/RW 04, Kebon Jeruk District, West Jakarta," said the Head of the SAR Office (Kansar) Jakarta as the SAR Mission Coordinator (SMC) in SAR operations, Fazzli in his statement to VOI, Tuesday, August 23.

The victim's body was found during the search for the SAR Team on the third day. The victim was found when SAR members conducted a search into two search teams.

"Finally we found the victim due to the hard efforts of the joint SAR team who returned to conduct a search using a rubber boat," he said.

In the first team search, the search was carried out up to 28 NM2 in the waters using a rubber boat. Then the second team conducted a sweep with visual observations by land along the shoreline up to a radius of 10 KM from the incident location.

Previously, victim Supriyadi and his son Ulin (13) were fishing in a Bagan beach on Sunday, August 21, yesterday afternoon.

"At that time the victim saw the lid of the fish box fell and was dragged into the middle of the sea, then the victim tried to retrieve it by swimming," said Head of the Jakarta SAR Office as SAR Mission Coordinator (SMC) in SAR operations, Fazzli in a statement received by VOI in Jakarta, Monday, August 22.

While in the middle of the trip, the victim experienced cramps in his legs, until finally he drowned and disappeared from the sight of his son.

Then the victim's child asked for help from fishermen and anglers around the bagan. But unlucky, the victim has not been found until finally this report was forwarded to the SAR Team.
