JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has asked the public to report if they know of the whereabouts of suspected corruption cases on the wanted list (DPO). The anti-corruption agency ensures that the report will be followed up immediately.

"KPK invites the public to be involved in the search for the DPO by reporting directly to the KPK if they know of the whereabouts of five suspects who are still at large," said KPK Deputy for Enforcement and Execution Karyoto, quoted from the KPK RI YouTube channel, Tuesday, August 23.

Karyoto explained that in Semester I-2022 there were still five KPK fugitives that had to be pursued.

They are former legislative candidate (candidate) Harun Masiku, Regent of Central Mamberamo Ricky Ham Pagawak, Izhil Azhar who has been on the run since 2018, Kirana Kotama who has been on the run since 2017, and the latest is Paulus Tanos.

"We are trying to continue the legal process for the suspect whose status is still at large," he said.

"KPK urges the parties concerned to immediately surrender and follow the applicable legal process cooperatively," Karyoto continued.

This cooperative attitude, he said, was useful so that the fugitives could immediately be held accountable for their actions.

"So that the process of handling the case is effective and the parties can immediately obtain certainty of their legal status," he concluded.
