JAKARTA - Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta, Ahmad Riza Patria, responded to the statement by the Chairman of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Prasetyo Edi Marsudi, who said that there was a conflict within the ranks of the ASN of the DKI Provincial Government which was divided into two camps or gangs.

Riza will check the truth of the information from the two gangs on the subordinates of the DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan. However, he emphasized that every DKI Provincial Government official works according to his duties.

"So far, the tasks have been divided. Each has a duty and authority. Regional secretaries, assistants to the regional secretary, deputies, heads of offices, agencies, have their own duties. However, this information will be input for us," said Riza at the DKI Jakarta City Hall, Monday, August 22.

Deputy Governor Riza hopes that the working relationship within the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government will continue to run harmoniously. Thus, Anies and himself can complete their duties as regional leaders until their term of office expires next October.

"Of course I hope that, within the provincial government, so far the cooperation, good relations, and synergy, collaboration can be maintained. The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government is an inseparable unit, supporting each other, helping, complementing each other," he said.

Previously, the Chairman of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Prasetyo Edi Marsudi, revealed that currently there are two divisions within the ASN ranks under the leadership of the Governor of DKI Jakarta, Anies Baswedan.

Prasetyo said that the two divided gangs included a group of ASN graduates from the Institute of Domestic Administration (IPDN), formerly known as STPDN, and a general group.

"Now there is a dilemma in the executive government, they already have these gangs, namely the STPDN gang and the general gang," said Prasetyo in the PDIP faction room of the DKI Jakarta DPRD building.

Prasetyo said that the two camps in Anies' ranks are DKI Jakarta Regional Secretary Marullah Matali and DKI Jakarta Regional Secretary Government Assistant Sigit Wijatmoko, who is an IPDN graduate.

Currently, Prasetyo sees that Sigit does not seem to respect Marullah as a regional official with a higher rank than him.

"Now the regional secretary is not appreciated by assistants. It's like there is a shadow regional secretary, his name is Sigit. Losing like this, how do you want to go, this is the term government?" said Prasetyo.
