Ganjar explained that the generation that is ready to face the challenges of the future is the younger generation who are free from early marriage, sex outside of marriage, and the influence of drugs. It is this generation that really must be prepared from now on.
“So if we want to talk about preparing the younger generation to face the future with all its challenges, they must be free. Free from the influence of drugs, they must be free from early marriage. If they are married at an early age, they are mentally unprepared, their health is not ready, the potential for stunting is also high. The next homework will not be finished,” he explained.
Ganjar then explained how the younger generation can be free from these three things. One of them, invites and provides an understanding of the dangers of early marriage, sex outside marriage, and drugs. “We hope that they will be more creative, the more they meet, the more often they are given assignments. Then they talk to their generation about not getting married early, not getting into drugs. You must be active to invite children your age to school, learn, and reach their goals. So we can prevent the potential occurrence (threats)," he said.
On that occasion, Ganjar gave a challenge to four youth representatives and GenRe Ambassadors from Papua, Sulawesi, Kalimantan, and Sumatra. The four are Marselius (Papua), Rosa Sartika (South Sulawesi), Nurul Oktaviani (West Kalimantan), and Dimas Ferdiansyah (Lampung).
They were asked to campaign by making short videos that were uploaded to social media accounts. The video contains the three pledges of the GenRe Ambassadors, namely that they will not marry young, will not have sex outside of marriage, and will not be influenced by drugs.

Ganjar added that the involvement of GenRe Ambassadors was also important because they could be stunting prevention agents from the start. This means they know better how to plan for the future and can distinguish between positive and negative things to do.
“Their involvement can be very important because there are many technical matters, and we can leave messages of a policy nature to them. You can imagine if their own network is very productive for this campaign, then stunting can be prevented, early marriage can be prevented, drugs can be prevented and so on,” he explained.
