City Car Car Hatchback Type White Collision Water Hydrant In Duren Sawit, 1 Person Critically Two Minor Wounds

JAKARTA - Head of the East Jakarta Traffic Unit AKBP Edy Surasa gave a statement regarding the single accident that was experienced by a white hatchback car on Jalan Raden Inten, Duren Sawit, East Jakarta, Sunday, August 21, early in the morning.

According to AKBP Edy, the single accident occurred at around 03.00 WIB. The driver could not control the speed of the vehicle which was at high speed.

"The car swayed, hit a water hydrant and was hit by someone sitting down. The car was from south to north," said AKBP Edy when confirmed, Sunday, August 21.

AKBP Edy said one resident was critical of the accident and was rushed to Pondok Kopi Islamic Hospital, Duren Sawit. Meanwhile, the driver of the car survived even though the front of the vehicle was destroyed.

"The driver is safe. If the person is sleepy or drunk, we don't know yet. It's still being investigated," said AKBP Edy.

Currently, the case is being handled by the East Jakarta Regional Traffic Unit.
