Inspector General Ferdy Sambo Had An Alibi That His Wife Was Harassed In Magelang, Police: Should Have Reported It Immediately

JAKARTA - The former Head of the Propam Division, Inspector General Ferdy Sambo, briefly mentioned the reason behind the plan to kill Brigadier J because of an act of harassment against his wife that took place in Magelang, Central Java.

The Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police, Komjen Agus Andrianto, spoke about the alibi. According to him, if the harassment actually occurred, it should have been reported to the nearest police station.

"It should be reported with evidence to the Magelang Police, so that the necessary evidence can be obtained by investigators," said Komjen Agus when confirmed, Saturday, August 20. Thus, the allegations of abuse can be investigated immediately. In fact, the alleged perpetrator behind the report will soon be arrested.

However, the alleged abuse was actually reported by Putri Chandrawathi to the South Jakarta Metro Police. "Moreover, the incident involves a police official, perhaps with sufficient evidence, the perpetrators can be arrested and detained immediately," said Agus.

Meanwhile, Putri Chandrawathi's reporting on allegations of sexual harassment has now been terminated. The Director of General Crimes at the Bareskrim Brigadier General Andi Rian Djajadi said that the termination of the investigation process was based on the title of the case.

In addition, there is a reason behind it, namely that there is no fact that the alleged harassment incident occurred in Duren Tiga, South Jakarta. In fact, the reporting was seen as an 'obfuscation' of the premeditated murder of Brigadier J.

"We consider these two prisons to be part of the obstruction of justice," he said.

The report made by Putri Chandrawathi is only an alibi. The goal, to cover the death of Brigadier J because he was killed.

"This is part of an effort to prevent the disclosure of case 340 (premeditated murder, ed)," said Andi.
