JAKARTA - Damri in collaboration with the East Java Provincial Government provides the operation of the Trans Jatim Bus route on the Sidoarjo - Surabaya - Gresik route with the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) concept in East Java.
Damri's Corporate Secretary, Akhmad Zulfikri said that the number of the Trans Jatim fleet to be operated was 22 medium-type buses.
"The 22 Trans Jatim buses of medium type will later be divided, 20 buses will operate every day and 2 buses will be used as backups," Zulfikri said in his statement, quoted from Antara, Saturday, August 20.
Zulfikri revealed that the Sidoarjo - Surabaya - Gresik route is an urban area, with departures from Porong, Sidoarjo, then passing through Surabaya City to Gresik, and also applies to the opposite route.
