Securing 30 Kg Of Dried Cannabis, Karimun Police Presumes It Has Saved 122,000 People

KEPRI - The Narcotics Investigation Unit (Satresnarkoba) of the Karimun Riau Islands Police (Kepri) managed to secure 30 packs of dry marijuana ready for distribution weighing 30 kilograms.

Karimun Police Chief AKBP Tony Pantano said that the successful disclosure of the dried marijuana distribution began with the arrest of five suspects with the initials H, SZ, YF, MA and MT.

"The evidence that was confiscated in total from the five suspects was 0.11 grams of methamphetamine and 703.46 grams of dry marijuana," he said in Karimun, Riau Islands, quoted from Antara, Friday, August 19.

After the arrest of five suspects, his party then carried out developments and managed to secure one woman with the initials NR.

"The evidence confiscated from the suspect NR was 30 packs of narcotics suspected of being a dry type of marijuana with a gross weight of one kilogram each, bringing the total weight to a gross weight of 30 kilograms," said Tony.

He explained, from all the evidence that was secured, the Narcotics Satres of the Karimun Police managed to save as many as 122,000 people. Assuming one gram is consumed by three to four people.

"The alleged article is Article 114 paragraph (1) and paragraph (2) Subsidiary 112 paragraph (1) and Article 111 paragraph (1) and paragraph (2) of Law No. RI. 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics.
