Jokowi: Let's Unite To Support The Big Agenda, Happy Republic Of Indonesia!

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) invites all parties to unite to support the country's grand agenda. This invitation was made to achieve advanced Indonesia.

This was conveyed by President Jokowi through his Instagram account, @jokowi today, Wednesday, August 17. Through this upload, the former Governor of DKI Jakarta conveyed the words of the 77th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia.

"Let's unite to support the big agenda of achieving Advanced Indonesia with commitment and hard work, with innovation and creativity," Jokowi said in his upload.

"Indonesia recovers faster, rises stronger. Happy Republic of Indonesia!" he continued.

Previously, Jokowi had showcased a number of government achievements when delivering his state speech on Tuesday, August 16 at the Indonesian Parliament Building, Senayan, Central Jakarta. One of them is the increasing level of international trust in Indonesia.

"The fourth strength is international trust which has risen sharply," said Jokowi, Tuesday, August 16.

Jokowi gave an example of the form of trust he meant. For example, Indonesia was accepted by Russia and Ukraine as a bridge for peace. Although, at that time geopolitics in both countries was hot.

Then, Indonesia was also trusted by the UN as the Champions of the Global Crisis Response Group for handling global crises. In 2022 Indonesia will become President of the G20, the organization of the 20 largest economies in the world. Next year, become the Chair of ASEAN.

"This means that we are at the top of global leadership and have a great opportunity to build international cooperation," he said.

Furthermore, Jokowi said that the great trust of the international community can also be felt at home. Currently, Jokowi stated that the government continues to carry out structural reforms for competitiveness and business climate.

Then, the government also improves the investment ecosystem and the growth of MSMEs. As a result, Downstream and domestic manufacturing continues to grow rapidly. Investment growth also increased sharply, of which 52 percent were outside Java.

"This means that our economy is not only growing rapidly, but also growing evenly, towards an Indonesia-centric development," said Jokowi.
