JAKARTA - The Governor of Central Java (Central Java) Ganjar Pranowo invites all parties to take advantage of Regional Owned Enterprises (BUMD) such as Bank Jateng to revive the economy of the small people.

"I have ordered that the world's economic problems are no longer good, so Bank Jateng must have a contribution. Is it small business credit, or are there schemes that make it easier for the people," said Ganjar, Tuesday, August 16.

Ganjar also encourages the role of banks to manage customers, including those related to credit, in addition to helping the economy of the poor.

The reason is, credit problems must be a public story.

"Including how to manage customers because of course the issue of NPL (Non Performing Loans) becomes a story, it will definitely be a story," he said.

Furthermore, Ganjar inaugurated the inscription and garden courtyard at the Central Java Bank Head Office. Ganjar hopes that the inscription that reads the company's annual development and the new park can make people feel comfortable.

"At the same time, Bank Jateng wants to open itself to the public with the symbol of 'breaking down the fence' and becoming an open space so that people may sit here," he said.

On the other hand, Ganjar also appreciated the Bank of Central Java for providing significant achievements. He said Bank Jateng's assets continued to grow every year.

"So if we look there (the inscription) it says the total assets, starting from 2013 we first entered 30.7 trillion, now in 2020 it could reach 80.35 trillion," he said.

Previously, Ganjar had involved the banking sector in order to improve the economy of Central Java. One of them is through the Garlic Learning Center in Tegal Regency in collaboration with Bank Indonesia (BI).
