The M Bloc Space Parking Attendant Who Entered The Women's Toilet Has Become A Suspect

JAKARTA - The police have named ED (29), a parking attendant at M Block Space, South Jakarta, as a suspect in a sexual assault case against a woman with the initials R (22).

Head of Public Relations of the South Jakarta Metro Police, AKP Nurma explained that the victim refused to mediate. He refused to withdraw his report.

"He's already a suspect. The person holding him was screaming. The parking guy (the perpetrator) was the parking attendant," said Head of Public Relations of the South Jakarta Metro Police, AKP Nurma, when confirmed by VOI, Monday night, August 15.

Although the suspect has been named, Nurma said that ED has not been detained yet. This is because they still need additional witnesses.

"As for being detained, not yet. At first, it was still being investigated again. The witness was still being questioned, he was the only suspect," he said.

Previously it was reported that a woman with the initials, R (22) became a victim of sexual harassment by a parking attendant with the initials ED (29) at Caffe M Bloc Space, Melawai, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta.

Dita (22) as a friend of the victim explained that the incident occurred on Thursday, August 11, at 21.00 WIB.

The incident began when the victim entered the women's bathroom at the cafe. It turned out that there was a perpetrator peeking at him from the bathroom next to him.

"So when the victim peed, the perpetrator was peeking at her from under the toilet. The perpetrator (his position-ed) is in the bathroom next to him, so there is more than one bathroom," said Dita when confirmed by VOI, Friday, August 12.

Due to the incident, the victim screamed hysterically until the security guard and other visitors came to him.

Furthermore, knowing there was a security guard and other visitors coming to him, ED immediately locked the bathroom door.

"This perpetrator still didn't want to come out, he was finally able to get out, because the door was broken and (ED) was pulled out," he said.

The perpetrator was immediately interrogated by the cafe security guard and other visitors who approached him. However, ED did not admit it.

“He still doesn't want to admit it, but he keeps harassing me. He held my friend's chest (victim) in front of the security guard and other visitors," he said.

On that occasion, Dita suspected that the perpetrator at the time of the incident was under the influence of alcoholic beverages. This is said because he saw his movements like an unconscious person.
