The Lure Of Billions Of Money To Mysterious Chocolate Envelopes In The Maelstrom Of Brigadier J's Case That Entangled Inspector General Ferdy Sambo

JAKARTA - Fact after fact was revealed from the vortex of the premeditated murder case of Brigadier Yosua Hutabarat or Brigadier J which involved Inspector General Ferdy Sambo. There was a bribery attempt, which is said to have been carried out by the former Head of the Propam Division, Ferdy Sambo, against a number of parties.

The confession about the lure of money was conveyed by the former lawyer of Bharada Richard Eliezer or Bharada E, Deolipa Yumara.

The former Head of the Propam Division, Inspector General Ferdy Sambo and his wife, Putri Candrawathi, called Deolipa, promised money to Bharada Richard Eliezer, also known as Bharada E, Kuwat, and Bripka Ricky Rizal. Both are said to provide the nominal in dollar denominations.

He said Kuwat and Ricky (Bripka RR) were each promised Rp 500 million, while Bharada E would be given Rp 1 billion.

"So there is Rp 1 billion for Richard, Rp 500 million for Kuwat, and Rp 500 million for RR in dollars," Deolipa told reporters in the Depok area, Saturday, August 13.

Deolipa said this gift was made after the atmosphere was conducive. "It's like this, all of you are given after it's safe," he said.

Deolipa said that the promise was made after the shooting incident of Nopryansah Yosua Hutabarat or Brigadier J. He ensured that the effort to give the money was delivered by his former client himself.

"(That's a confession, red) Bharada E to me. The witness is Burhanuddin (a fellow lawyer)," he said.

Chocolate Envelopes for LPSK

There is also a confession from the LPSK about the brown envelope allegedly containing money. This envelope is said to have been given by Ferdy Sambo's 'order' when LPSK visited the Divpropam office regarding the application for the protection of Putri Candrawati.

The news of the brown envelope was denied by Inspector General Ferdy Sambo's lawyer, Irwan Irawan. He said that no one had ordered his client to give two brown envelopes to the Witness and Victim Protection Agency (LPSK).

"First, when the incident happened, absolutely nothing happened as described. We don't understand the envelope issues," said Irwan when confirmed, Friday, August 12.

Officers 'Detained' in Special Room

More and more police are being dragged into murder cases at the official residence of Inspector General Ferdy Sambo. There have been 16 police officers detained in special places suspected of having committed violations or unprofessionalism during the handling of the investigation into the murder of Brigadier J.

The Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police, Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo, explained that there were 4 additional mid-level officers from the Polda Metro Jaya who were officially detained in a special place. Their ranks are 3 AKBP and 1 Kompol.

The four people added to the carriage of 12 police officers who had previously been detained.

"The results of the examination (inspection) and the title last night, it was determined that 4 PMJ pamen (3 AKBP and 1 Kompol) carried out Special Specialties at the Provost Bureau of the National Police Headquarters," said Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo to VOI, Saturday, August 13.

In detail, 6 people were detained in a special place at the Mobile Brigade Headquarters and 10 others at the Provost Police Headquarters.
