Report The Red Magician, Gus Samsudin Will Be Questioned By The East Java Regional Police Tomorrow

SURABAYA - The leader of the Nur Dzat Sejati Padepokan, Samsudin, will undergo an examination at the East Java Police Headquarters, on Friday, August 11. Samsudin will be questioned as a reporter for Marcel Radhival, also known as the Red Magician.

The Acting Head of Sub-Directorate V Cyber of the East Java Police, Kompol Harianto, said that investigators of the Sub-Directorate of Cybercrime V of the East Java Police had previously scheduled a summons for Gus Samsudin on Monday, August 8.

However, Gus Samsudin could not attend, and asked for it to be postponed to Friday, August 12, 2022.

"Maybe he can come tomorrow Friday," said Harianto, confirmed on Thursday, August 11.

According to Harianto, Gus Samsudin will be investigated for questioning regarding his report. Because, he said, investigators have not been able to go further in investigating the report against the Red Magician.

In addition to Gus Samsudin's statement, investigators also need evidence to explore further, whether or not there were criminal elements committed by the Red Magician. As is known, Samsudin reported the Red Magician regarding defamation and hate speech.

"Well, we have to examine the reporter first (Samsudin), because we don't know he is the reporter, with what evidence, the evidence submitted, whether he fulfills the criminal element or not," he said.

Previously, two YouTubers Magician Red and Gus Samsudin were involved in a feud. The Red Magician, who doesn't believe in mysticism, wants to prove Gus Samsudin's supernatural powers. Until finally the feud spread under the name Rejowinangun Village, Blitar Regency.

The residents finally came down and demanded that Gus Samsudin's Padepokan Nur Dzat Sejati be closed, but Gus Samsudin refused. Blitar Police finally held mediation related to the polemic of the Gus Samsudin hermitage with the residents of Rejowinangun Village.

The closed-door mediation was attended by representatives of the 0808 Kodim, religious leaders, community leaders, and several other relevant agencies, at the Blitar Police Headquarters, Tuesday, August 2022. Currently, Gus Samsudin's hermitage is prohibited from carrying out activities or is closed.

A few days later, Gus Samsudin finally came to the East Java Regional Police with his attorney on Wednesday, August 3. He came to report cases of defamation and hate speech by the red magician.
