The PPSU Officer Who Persecuted His Lover On The Street Has Become A Suspect

JAKARTA – Zulpikar, an officer for handling public infrastructure and facilities (PPSU) who abused his girlfriend, EL, has become a suspect. Zulpikar has now been detained at the Mampang Police, South Jakarta.

Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Mampang Prapatan Police, AKP Budi Laksono, said that Zulpikar was named a suspect on Wednesday, August 10. He abused his lover out of jealousy.

"The suspect's status has been 24 hours. The police have determined the existence of the information on the violence," Budi said when confirmed by VOI, Wednesday, August 10.

Zulpikar was charged with Article 351 in conjunction with 335 of the Criminal Code.

"Article 351 Jo 335 (KUHP-ed) the perpetrator is detained at the Sector Police," he said.

Regarding the condition of the victim, Budi said that if EL had a post-mortem on Tuesday, August 9, if it was evening. However, the results are still waiting for the medical team.

"The victim was given a post-mortem last night, (but-ed) the results haven't come out yet," he concluded.

Previously, a PPSU officer committed violence against a woman. The action was caught on video and went viral on social media.

Lurah Bangka, South Jakarta Firdaus Aulawy confirmed the incident. The incident occurred on Jalan Kemang 6, South Jakarta, Monday, August 8, at around 12.30 WIB.

After reports of Zulpikar persecuting his girlfriend, the Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta, Riza Patria, dismissed him.
