Crowded Police And Tactical Vehicles At Inspector General Ferdy Sambo's House, Polri: Timsus Search

JAKARTA - The National Police spoke about the police presence at Inspector General Ferdy Sambo's private house on Jalan Saguling III, the Mining Complex, Duren Tiga, South Jakarta. Apparently, a special team (timsus) is conducting a search.

"The search is active (activities) by the Timsus," said Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo when confirmed, Tuesday, August 9.

However, the purpose of the search was not detailed. Allegedly, this was done to seek additional evidence.

Armed Brimob and Propam are known to have visited the residence of the former Head of the Propam Police Division, Inspector General Ferdy Sambo, this afternoon.

Two tactical cars and an operational car belonging to the Police Mobile Brigade followed to the luxury home of Inspector General Ferdy Sambo.

The cars were carrying a number of Brimob Police personnel wearing uniforms and full weapons.

A police line was also installed which was located 30 meters from the residence of Inspector General Ferdy Sambo. The goal is that no one gets close.

The National Police Team has named two suspects in the murder of Brigadier J, namely Bharada Richard Eliezir Pudihang Lumiu or Bharada E and Brigadier Ricky Rizal or Brigadier RR.

Bharada E is suspected of under Article 338 in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) of the 1st Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 56 of the Criminal Code. Meanwhile, Brigadier Ricky Rizal was charged with Article 340 subsidiary Article 338 in conjunction with Article 55 and Article 56 of the Criminal Code.

In this case, the National Police Chief has also taken firm steps. The Special Inspectorate Team (irsus) formed has examined 25 Polri personnel regarding allegations of unprofessionalism in handling the case of Brigadier J's death that occurred at Inspector General Fedy Sambo's halfway house.

Of the dozens of personnel, three of them are one-star generals. Then, four of them have also been sent to a special place (patsus).

Inspector General Ferdy Sambo was also placed in a special room at Mako Brimob Kelapa Dua, Depok. He is suspected of being involved in the series of murder cases of Brigadier J.
