JAKARTA – A Honda Vario motorcycle rider was involved in an accident with a trailer truck near the BPJS office, Jalan Plumpang Semper, Koja, North Jakarta. As a result of the accident, two people, namely the driver and passenger of the motorcycle died. irony, the victim died on his birthday.

According to information, the victim's initials ATN and his passenger, SP drove on a Vario motorbike with police number (nopol) B 6829 UTI around 15.30 WIB. Both come from west to east.

When approaching the BPJS Employment Office, they tried to overtake the trailer truck, but failed. In the end, the motorcycle slipped and fell onto the road.

"The driver and passenger fell to the right and were run over by the left rear tire (trailer truck)," said Edy when confirmed, Friday, August 5.

The motorcyclist died on the spot. Meanwhile, the passengers were rushed to the hospital, but unfortunately their lives could not be saved.

"The motorbike was injured and died at the scene (TKP) and the passenger was injured and died at the hospital," he said.

Meanwhile, an eyewitness and a colleague of the victim, Sarip (18), who witnessed the incident, said that the victim was a YAPENDA SMA student.

Sarip said the victim was in a hurry to celebrate his birthday with his friends. But it turns out that his birthday is the date of his death.

"So he (ATN) wanted to overtake the container, but he couldn't, I also saw it clearly," said Sarip.

Sarip said the victim was in a hurry because his friends were waiting for him, where the victim wanted to treat his friends

"He wanted to treat friends, and he was already waiting for him, so he was in a hurry because it was his birthday today," he concluded.
