It Is Reported That Anies Will Be A Witness To Rizieq Najwa Shihab's Child Marriage Tomorrow

JAKARTA - It is rumored that the Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan will witness the marriage of Syarifah Najwa Shihab. Syarifah is the daughter of the leader of the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) Muhammad Rizieq Shihab.

Deputy Secretary General of the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI), Tengku Zulkarnain, said that Rizieq did inform Anies about his child's marriage during a meeting on Wednesday, November 11.

"On the night of the meeting, two days ago, there was a discussion about his son, Najwa Shihab. Maybe Mr. Anies could be a witness," said Tengku when contacted, Friday, November 13.

However, Tengku said that Rizieq did not directly ask Anies to witness his daughter's marriage. However, Anies could be a witness because of his closeness.

"That night there was a discussion about the marriage. But was there a request to be a witness? Not yet. But if now you are asked to be a witness, you can," he said.

Based on the notification received by VOI, Rizieq will marry off his son to Irfan Alaydrus on Saturday, November 14, 2020 at around 19.30 WIB, at the same time commemorating the Prophet's birthday.

The location of the wedding is on Jalan KS Tubun Raya Petamburan III, Petamburan Village, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta. Estimates of the invited congregation reached 10 thousand people.

It is planned that a number of speakers will attend, such as Sobri Lubis, Hanif Al Athos, Zainuddin Ali, Munawir Aseli, Syekh Ali Jaber, Abdul Somad, Tengku Zulkarnain, and so on.
