JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan has officially changed the name of a hospital in Jakarta to a healthy house. The name change binds 31 regional public hospitals (RSUD) belonging to the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government to become healthy homes for Jakarta (RSUJ).

Rumah Sehat for Jakarta is a manifestation of health services owned by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government which previously consisted of 31 hospitals.

Anies viewed that the name change was carried out to change the mindset of the community so that they not only visit when they are sick, but also in order to maintain and improve the quality of their health. This was conveyed by Anies at the launch of the naming of a healthy house for Jakarta at Cengkareng Hospital, West Jakarta.

“So far, our hospital is curative and rehabilitative, so people come because they are sick and want to get well. Come to the hospital to get well, but to get well you have to be sick first. Well, on the other hand, in yesterday's pandemic, we witnessed the importance of maintaining health. Therefore, the role of the Healthy House is added, namely the promotive and preventive aspects," said Anies, Wednesday, August 3.

Anies hopes that this name change will succeed in making people think that they come to healthy homes to be healthier.

For example, by conducting medical and mental health check-ups, vaccination and immunization, and various other preventive promotive activities. So that this healthy home is designed to really make us oriented towards healthy living, not just oriented to recovering from illness.

“With this branding, we hope that people will view healthy homes from a different perspective. Moreover, in international language the hospital is defined as a hospital from hospitality, namely hospitality. It is hoped that through this transformation, conversations at home will also talk about being healthy, not sick, because our subconscious underlines that," Anies explained.

Continuing, the Head of the DKI Jakarta Health Office, Widyastuti explained that the Healthy Home for Jakarta also comes with a new color and logo design.

Widyastuti hopes that this update can become a new face for referral health services in DKI Jakarta. Of course this must be supported by the formation of professionalism of all human resources to better provide optimal services.

“Previously we had different logos into one and the same logo. The logo for the Healthy Home for Jakarta was inspired by the petals of the jasmine gambir, which is one of the special flowers of DKI Jakarta which is not only beautiful but also has health benefits as medicine,” said Widyastuti.

In addition to the announcement at the Cengkareng Hospital, West Jakarta, this launching activity was also carried out simultaneously in 5 other areas and was attended by the Mayor and Regent at the Hospital in each region in a hybrid manner, which were located, among others: Central Jakarta, located at Tarakan Hospital; North Jakarta is located at Koja Hospital; South Jakarta is located at Pasar Minggu Hospital; East Jakarta is located at Duren Sawit Hospital; The Thousand Islands is located at the Seribu Islands Hospital.
