JAKARTA - The KPU has informed that there are two political parties that will register on the third day of the registration stages of political parties as candidates for the 2024 General Election, Wednesday, August 3.

"The second Garuda Party is the Peace and Love Nation Party, so tomorrow at 14.00 WIB, we will receive two political parties that will register with the Indonesian KPU," said KPU member Idham Holik in Jakarta as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, August 2.

So far, according to him, there have been 10 political parties that have registered with the KPU. A total of 9 political parties registered on the first day of the registration stage of political parties as candidates for the 2024 General Election, and 1 political party registered on the second day.

Political parties registered on the first day, starting with PDIP at 08.00 WIB, then PKP, PKS, Reform Party, PRIMA, Perindo, NasDem, PBB, Pandai.

Then on the second day of the registration stage, the Nusantara Awakening Party became the only political party to register. PKN was present at the KPU at 14.00 WIB.

Idham said that of the 10 political parties that registered, as many as 7 political parties were declared complete with their documents and given an official report that could be registered.

"PDIP complete documents, PKS complete documents, PKP complete documents, Perindo complete documents, Nasdem complete documents, PBB complete documents (political parties registering on the first day)," said Idham.

The seventh political party whose documents were also declared complete was PKN. Then, PDIP, PKS, PKP, Perindo, NasDem and PBB have started the process of administrative verification stage on Tuesday 2 August.

"PKN continues to the administrative verification stage, which we will start tomorrow (August 3, 2022)," said Idham.
