There Were 2 Suspects In The Makassar Pilkada Staple Food Case, But The Perpetrator Escaped And The Case Was Stopped

MAKASSAR - The Makassar Police has stopped investigating a case of alleged election crime related to the distribution of staple foods that was linked to the Danny Pomanto-Fatmawati Rusdi (Adama) pair. The case was stopped because two people who were named as suspects for the Makassar Pilkada food staples fled.

"It has been terminated for the sake of the law that the period of investigation for 14 has passed," said Head of the Makassar Police Reskrim, Kompol Agus Khaerul, when contacted by VOI, Friday, November 13.

In the case of the Makassar Pilkada staples, the police have named two suspects. However, two suspects fled.

"There are two suspects but they are still in the process of investigating them," continued Kompol Agus.

Meanwhile, Zufikarnain, Coordinator of the Supervision, Public Relations and Inter-Agency Relations Division of Makassar City, confirmed this incident separately.

"The suspect is missing or has disappeared or has fled. The suspect is running away, that's why the case is SP3 because of that," he continued.

Bawaslu of Makassar City, South Sulawesi, handled a case of alleged money politics by distributing basic foodstuffs to residents. The alleged violation is related to the pair number 1 M Ramdhan Pomanto-Fatmawati Rusdi.

"Witnesses, in the form of evidence, billboards then rice and packaged instant noodle oil are evidence," said Zufikarnain, the Coordinator of the Supervision, Public Relations and Inter-Agency Relations Division of the Makassar City Bawaslu, VOI, Tuesday, October 13.

The alleged violation was handled directly by the Gakkumdu Center. The reporting file is submitted to the Makassar Police.

Even though the allegations of money politics have met the elements, Bawaslu will still carry out investigations. There are 14 working days for Bawaslu to process this case.

"Investigators have time to complete witnesses and evidence," he said.

The Adama Team Denies Related to the Makassar Pilkada Staple Food Case

M Ramdhan Pomanto (Danny Pomanto) -Fatmawati Rusdi's spokesperson for the candidate for mayor, confirmed that the allegation of money politics by distributing basic necessities to residents is not related to the candidate pair number one. The distribution of basic food items was carried out by an individual unknown to the candidate pair known as Adama.

“The ones suspected of violating it were not Danny Pomanto and Fatmawati Rusdi as candidate pairs, nor were Danny-Fatma's campaign team, but individuals who were recorded at the location. It is these individuals who are suspected of violating it, ”said Adama spokesman Indira Mulyasari, confirmed by VOI, Tuesday, October 13.

According to Indira, Danny-Fatma has been questioned by Bawaslu Makassar. Both of them emphasized that they did not know about the distribution of basic necessities in the Panakkukang District area.
