MEDAN - A man in Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra named Fandi Ahmad (33) became the victim of a stabbing by a group of men. As a result of the stabbing, 4 fingers of the victim's left hand were severed.

The incident occurred when the victim was working at a coffee shop in the Patumbak area when a group of people visited him. Without further ado, the group of people immediately persecute the victim.

Outnumbered, the victim tried to run away and hide. However, a perpetrator managed to find out where he was hiding and immediately attacked using a klewang.

Furthermore, the victim was immediately rushed to H Adam Malik Hospital, Medan to get help. The victim's parents have also reported the incident to the Patumbak Police.

The head of the Patumbak Police, Kompol Faidir Chaniago, confirmed the victim's report. At this time, he said, the police were looking for the perpetrators of the assault.

"We are continuing to search and investigate the whereabouts of the perpetrators," said Commissioner Faidir, Tuesday, August 2.

He explained that the search for the perpetrators was carried out at the place where the perpetrators and their relatives were staying.

"However, until now the whereabouts of the perpetrators have not been identified and hopefully residents who know the whereabouts of the perpetrators contact the officers immediately," he explained.
