Denpasar Police Chief Provides Psychological Support For N, A 5-Year-Old Child, Victim Of Violence

BALI - Denpasar Police Chief Grand Commissioner Bambang Yugo Pamungkas provided psychological support to N (5), a victim of violence and neglect in Mengwi Badung, Bali.

"Our visit is to provide psychological support to the victim and also the family, especially the victim's father, to take good care of the victim and also provide psychological support to the victim, one of which is giving gifts," said Bambang accompanied by Head of Criminal Investigation Unit, Commissioner Mikael Hutabarat in Denpasar, Bali, Antara, Sunday, July 31.

The visit, said the Chief of Police, wanted to ensure the development and health condition of the victim after undergoing treatment at the Wangaya Hospital in Denpasar some time ago.

During his visit, the Chief of Police and his entourage brought gifts in the form of toys, school equipment for the victims, as well as food assistance.

"The victim's condition is currently improving, although her leg is still in a cast, she can get along, and hopefully (the victim) will recover quickly," he said.

At this time, the victim has been able to communicate well and hopes for a speedy recovery. On the other hand, the Chief of Police revealed the fact that from the results of the investigation, investigators found that the victim did not only experience ordinary violence. However, it did not mention specifically the facts of the investigation.

"Today we are examining it intensively again and making an approach, tomorrow we will officially announce it," he explained.

Meanwhile, the victim's father Nyoman Warga expressed his gratitude for the visit of the Denpasar Police Chief and hoped that his children would recover quickly.

"Thank you for visiting the Denpasar Police Chief and asking for prayers for our child to recover quickly," he said.

The Denpasar City Resort Police Criminal Investigation Unit (Satreskrim Polresta) on Monday gave a statement that the police were still investigating allegations of child sexual abuse in Denpasar, Bali by submitting a visum et repertum to the Wangaya Regional General Hospital. Until now the results of the examination are not yet known.
