Still A Witness, Bharada E Who Was Involved In Shooting With Brigadier J Returned To Brimob

JAKARTA - The Head of the National Police Public Relations Division, Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo, confirmed that Bharada Richard Eliezer, who was involved in the police shooting incident at the house of the inactive Head of the Profession and Security Division (Propam), Inspector General Ferdy Sambo, returned to his original unit, Brimob.

The reason Bharada E returned to Brimob was because he was still a witness in the police shooting case.

"Yes, because his status is still as a witness," said Dedi Dedi when confirmed in Jakarta, Antara, Sunday, July 31. Dedi was reluctant to explain in more detail the reasons for the withdrawal of Bharada E to the Mobile Brigade Command Headquarters.

Meanwhile, Bharada Richard Eliezer or Bharada E is known as a Brimob member who is seconded to the Propam Police Division and is an aide to Inspector General Ferdy Sambo.

Bharada E is suspected of having been involved in a shootout with Brigadier Nofriansyah Yosua Hutabarat or Brigadier J at the house of the Head of the Propam Police Division, Inspector General Ferdy Sambo, in Duren Tiga, South Jakarta, last Friday, July 8.

The police handled three reports in the incident. First, reports regarding allegations of sexual harassment or obscenity. Second, with regard to allegations of threats and violence as well as attempted murder.

Third, the case handled by the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police is related to the alleged attempted murder and assault reported by the family attorney of First Brigadier Nofriansyah Yosua Hutabarat.

Now the three police reports are handled by the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police into one unit. However, so far no suspects have been identified.

After the police shot the police, Bharada E applied for protection to the Witness and Victim Protection Agency (LPSK).

On Friday, July 29, LPSK received the arrival of Bharada Eliezer to undergo an assessment and investigation related to the death of Brigadier J.

Previously, LPSK had scheduled the applicants, namely Putri Candrawati who is the wife of Inspector General of Police. Ferdy Sambo and Bharada E to conduct an assessment and investigation on Wednesday (27/8). However, both of them were unable to attend.

Likewise, Bharada E. Through a representative from the Mobile Brigade Headquarters who came to LPSK, also said that the person concerned had not been able to attend to give information.
