JAKARTA - KAI Commuter said that until the second day of testing the operation of BNI City Station as a station that serves up and down KRL users, on Sunday, July 31, it was monitored smoothly and under control.

"In the trial operation of KRL services at BNI City Station, as many as 199 KRL trips for the Cikarang/Bekasi - Kampung Bandan connection via Pasar Senen or via Manggarai will serve up and down users at this station," said VP Corporate Secretary KAI Commuter Anne Purba as quoted by Antara. .

Anne said that as of 13.00 WIB, the total number of users who boarded BNI City Station was 197 people, while those who dropped off were 862 people.

Meanwhile, for the trial on the first day on Saturday, there were 761 users who went up and 2,388 people dropped or a total of 3,149 people who got on and off at BNI City Station.

Furthermore, he conveyed that service facilities for KRL users have also been prepared starting from the counter, seven electronic gates for the entry and exit process of users, three C-VIM for top up and guide signs in the station area, as well as alerting officers to help regulate flow and provide information to passengers in the station area.

For KRL users who get off at BNI City Station from Tanah Abang Station to Manggarai Station, KRL will stop at platform 2 while KRL from Manggarai direction will stop at platform 1. For users who want to leave the station, can use the elevator or escalator at each each platform.

KAI Commuter continues to invite users for mutual convenience to always maintain the infrastructure and service facilities in the BNI City station area.

"The schedule and position of KRL that will depart from BNI City Station can be seen through the KRL Access application," he said.

He revealed that KAI Commuter also recorded a total volume of KRL users during last week as many as 4,285,079 people, this number increased by 2 percent compared to the volume of users in the previous week, which was 4,209,078 people.

While the average volume of users in one week is 612,154 people per day.

Throughout July 2022, the volume of Jabodetabek KRL users was recorded at 18,455,416 people or an average of 615,181 users per day.
