SURAKARTA - Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo took part in the procession of the Dalem 1 Sura EHE 1956 Heritage Carnival, Friday, July 29 evening. The Heritage Carnival is held by Pura Mangkunegaran Surakarta to welcome the night of 1 Sura or the New Year's Eve of the Javanese calendar.
Ganjar, who was accompanied by his wife, Siti Atikoh, walked along the carnival route with a group of soldiers. Namely, from the pendapa, exit to the south, Pamedan, to the west, play Mangkunegaran once, then enter the pendapa area.

"I think there are many cultural activities that need to be shown. We can enjoy it enough, people are happy and health protocols are maintained," he explained.
