COVID-19 Update As Of July 30: New Cases 5,398, Recovered 4,268

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health released the latest additional positive cases of COVID-19 as of today. The total cumulative cases are 6,202,893 people since the first case was announced in March 2020. Meanwhile, new cases per day reached 5,398 people.

Meanwhile, the number of recovered cases today increased by 4,268 people, bringing the total to 5,996,805 people recovered. Meanwhile, the positive confirmed cases who died increased by 13 people and the total was 156,983 people.

Meanwhile, the province with the newest cases was DKI Jakarta with 2,629 new cases and a total of 1,328,643 cases. Consists of 2,529 local transmissions and 100 foreign travelers (PPLN).

Followed by West Java with 994 new cases and a total of 1,133,539. It consists of 992 local transmissions and 2 PPLN.

Then, Banten with 626 new cases and a total of 311,199 cases. Consists of local transmission 623 and 3 PPLN.

Furthermore, East Java with 316 new cases, and a total of 584,985 cases were recorded. Consists of local transmission 313 and 3 PPLN.

Then, Bali with 161 new cases and a total of 162,388 cases recorded. Consists of local transmission 157 and 4 PPLN.

Then, Central Java with 155 new cases and a total of 630,424 cases. Consists of 149 local transmissions and 6 PPLN.

The province with the most recovered cases today is DKI Jakarta with an increase of 2,761 cases. Then, followed by West Java with 522 cases recovered. Then, Banten with an additional 347 cases, and East Java with 296 cases recovered.

"The highest death cases are in DKI Jakarta with 5 people", according to data from the Ministry of Health, Saturday, July 30.

In addition, the number of specimens that have been examined per day is 91,265. Meanwhile, cumulatively it reached 103,563,868. As for the details, 42,211,462 were examined by RT-PCR, 299,746 by the TMC method, and 61,052,660 people were tested for antigen.

"For the number of people suspected of having contracted COVID-19 or who are currently categorized as suspected cases, it was recorded at 5,197 people", it said.

Then, the weekly positivity rate for people from 24 to 30 July 2022 is 8.56 percent. While the daily positivity rate is 12.44 percent.

Currently, the number of people who have received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination has increased by 22,072 and the total has reached 202,443,211. The second dose of the vaccine increased by 13,809, the cumulative total reached 170,035,690 people. Then the third dose of vaccination increased by 54,649 and the total reached 55,835,790. Meanwhile, the vaccination target reached 208,265,720 people.
