Two Months Of Fugitives After Action In Kemayoran, 3 Perpetrators Of Motorcycle Robbery Arrested By Police

JAKARTA - The three main perpetrators of the robbery action were finally arrested by the Criminal Investigation Unit (Satreskrim) of the Central Jakarta Metro Police on Saturday, July 30.

The three suspects with the initials DA, MA and TF were arrested after being wanted by the police after stealing a motorbike belonging to a courier employee named Chandra on Jalan Angkasa, Kemayoran, last Friday, May 27.

The Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Central Jakarta Metro Police, Kompol Gunarto, confirmed that his team had arrested three robbers.

The three initials were DA, MA, and TF. They were arrested in the Sawah Besar area without a fight.

"We have arrested the three suspects in relation to the robbery case in Kemayoran where the victim was a courier who was stabbed in the cheek," said Kompol Gunarto when confirmed by VOI, Saturday, July 30.

Furthermore, Kompol Gunarto said, these three actors always act together.

"The motorbike said the perpetrator was sold to the Bekasi area, West Java. We are still investigating the whereabouts of the motorbike. We managed to secure evidence of sharp weapons in the form of cigars," he said.

For his actions, the three perpetrators were charged with Article 364 of the Criminal Code with a sentence of more than 5 years.

Previously, it was reported that Chandra Hermawan (20) suffered a laceration to his left cheek after being struck by a sickle by a gang of motorbike thieves on Jalan Angkasa, Gunung Sahari Selatan Village, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, Friday, May 27.

In addition to suffering injuries, Chandra was also forced to lose his motorbike due to being taken away by the gang of street criminals.

Based on Chandra's statement, the burglary happened to him on Friday, May 27, at dawn.

"The incident occurred on Jalan Angkasa, opposite the police dormitory," the victim told reporters on Friday, May 27.

Chandra explained that the incident began when he and one of his colleagues were crossing the Angkasa road. At that time he was already suspicious of the three people who had followed from Jalan Industri.
