JAKARTA - PT Transportation Jakarta (TransJakarta) BUMD, added eight Microtrans AC fleets on the Gondangdia-Cikini route via Cikini Raya or JAK 10A corridor.

PT TransJakarta Corporate Secretary Division Head Anang Rizkani Noor said the addition of the AC Mikrotrans fleet was a form of PT TransJakarta's commitment to providing safe and comfortable services.

"For this route, TransJakarta provides as many as eight units that are ready to serve the community starting at 05.00-22.00 WIB with a tariff of Rp0 or free," said Anang as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, July 29.

Mikrotrans, said Anang, is important because it is a transportation service for the place of origin (first miles) and destination (last miles) that has been integrated with all TransJakarta services and other modes of transportation.

"We hope that the presence of Microtrans AC will not only make it easier for the community but also provide a more pleasant transportation experience," he said.

Even though it is free, said Anang, to enjoy this Mikrotrans service, customers still have to do the process of attaching their electronic money card to the EDC machine installed in the fleet.

"Customers are still required to always carry out the 'tap-in' and 'tap-out' process regularly on the Tap on Bus (TOB) device installed in the fleet. Then continue to comply with all applicable health protocols for our safety and comfort together," he said.

In addition, besides being equipped with Air Conditioner (AC), this fleet is also equipped with "running" text that informs the route served, automatic sliding doors, Widescreen TVs, emergency buttons and glass breaker hammers.
