PCR Test Results Of The Solo Hajj Group 18 Congregants From Sleman Negative COVID-19

SLEMAN - Pilgrims from Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta Special Region, who are members of the Solo Debarkation 18 Flying Group (Kloter) arrived in the country on Thursday (29/7). The results of the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) swab test for 385 pilgrims were negative for COVID-19.

"Information from Donohudan Hajj Dormitory, the results of the PCR swab test for the Solo Debarkation Group 18 pilgrims from Sleman were all negative for COVID-19, so they could immediately return to their respective homes," said the Head of the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of Sleman Regency, Makwan. reported by ANTARA, Friday, July 29.

The arrival of the Solo Debarkation Group 18 pilgrims from Sleman was warmly welcomed by the family at the Dr Wahidin Soedirohoesoedo Grand Mosque, Sleman.

The Deputy Regent of Sleman, Danang Maharsa, directly welcomed the first group to arrive in Sleman Regency.

The congregation was directed to gather in advance at the Great Mosque of Sleman to ensure security and safety.

In addition, to avoid crowds of pickers, the families present are also required to come with invitation letters that have been distributed previously.

Deputy Regent Danang Maharsa also greeted the pilgrims who came by saying welcome and expressing gratitude for the return of the pilgrims from Sleman in good health.

Even so, he explained that there was one hajj that had not arrived because he had to get treatment at a hospital in Klaten, Central Java.

"On behalf of the individual and the Sleman Regency, we welcome all of you. A total of 385 Hajj Group 18 Solo pilgrims have returned safe and healthy. We also ask for prayers, because there is 1 haj who is still receiving treatment at the Klaten Hospital," he said. Danang.

In 2022, a total of 555 hajj pilgrims from Sleman Regency have carried out the fifth pillar of Islam which is divided into three groups.

The plan is to repatriate the next hajj pilgrims, namely Group 21 on Saturday 30 July 2022. As for the last group, it is planned to arrive on Sunday 14 August 2022.
