"They both came a month ago. Subahallah, both of them came, didn't know at first. But when you look at their faces, they seem to have seen them on television," said Saepulloh at the North Jakarta Ministry of Religion Office, Koja, Antara, Friday, July 29.

Saepulloh served Mutiara and Ali Saleh Alhuraebi fairly. He checked all the requirements that were brought during the registration were complete or not, including the documents that had to be fulfilled related to the domicile, such as a cover letter from the kelurahan and others.

Putri Anies Baswedan lives in South Jakarta, while Ali Saleh Alhuraebi is also not a resident of North Jakarta. However, because the requirements for the documents have been met, they can get married at the KUA of Pademangan District.

"Alhamdulillah, all the conditions are complete and we serve them. I was also surprised to see (the name on the files), how come this is Mr. Anies' son, is that Mr. Anies' son?

When the time for the wedding came, as the duty of a state official who recorded the marriage of a citizen, Saepulloh tried to arrive early.

"Thank God I arrived there at eight in the morning, I tried to provide the best service," said Saepulloh.

Saepulloh was also grateful to be able to help the marriage process for the daughter of a DKI Jakarta Governor. "It's an honor for me too," said Saepulloh.

At the location, Saepulloh carried out his duties as the head of marriage. He came to witness and supervise the wedding process after he had previously also researched and checked the marriage documents at the office.

"I was given the task, only to record and sign the marriage documents. The whole series of events was handled by a team from sohibul hajat," said Saepulloh.

The dowry from Ali Saleh Alhuraebi for marrying the daughter of the Governor of DKI Jakarta is cash amounting to Rp. 1 million. The pronunciation of the marriage contract is in Arabic.

"Yes, indeed, the family asked to use Arabic text, because generally Arabs, descendants, they use Arabic and I said yes it's okay, that's fine right? What's important is that it is in accordance with the Shari'a. it's Arabic. It's like that," said Saepulloh.
