The Suspected Perpetrator Of Editing The Profile Of The Metro Police Chief On Wikipedia Identified

JAKARTA - The police have identified the alleged perpetrator who changed the profile or biodata of the Metro Jaya Police Chief Inspector General Fadil Imran on the Wikipedia page. In the near future the inspection process will be carried out.

"It has been identified (the alleged perpetrator, ed)," said Director of the Special Criminal Investigation of the Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Auliansyah Lubis to reporters, Thursday, July 28.

However, regarding the identity of the alleged perpetrator, Auliansyah did not mention it. He only said that in the near future the biodata editor/editor of Inspector General Fadil Imran will be questioned.

Later, the investigation of the alleged perpetrators will explore various things. Especially, about the motive behind the editing action.

"Hopefully, soon we will be able to ask for information about the person concerned, what is his motive, what he wants, why did he do that," said Auliansyah.

Currently, only one person has been identified as the alleged perpetrator of the editing. The research and development process continues.

The profile or biodata of the Metro Jaya Police Chief, Inspector General Fadil Imran, which was listed on the Wikipedia page was changed by an unknown person. The change was the aftermath of a bloody incident that killed Nopryansah Yosua Hutabarat alias Brigadier J.

Based on data received by VOI, it was written that the two-star general was alleged to have received bribes from Inspector General Ferdy Sambo.

The receipt of the bribe was written because he did not detain the inactive Propam Kadiv in the alleged premeditated murder case of Brigadier J.

"Currently Fadil is suspected of receiving bribes from Ferdy Sambo so as not to arrest and detain himself in the case of the premeditated murder of Brigadier J Hutabarat in 2022," quoted VOI, Tuesday, July 26.
