Upset About Not Being Taken To Eat, A Casual Daily Worker Who Stabs His Wife Repeatedly In The Kitchen Turns Out To Be Suspicious That The Victim Often Takes Her Cellphone To The Bathroom

SERANG – The murder incident by NS (30) against his wife, SP 26) started from a commotion in the household. Based on the results of the investigation by the Serang Crime Investigation Unit investigators, NS used a knife to stab his wife in the waist twice, then stabbed her in the back many times until she died covered in blood.

The murder took place in the house of the perpetrator and the victim, in Pabuaran Dua Village, Malanggah Village, Tunjung Teja District, Serang Regency, Sunday, July 24, at around 16.00 WIB.

The Head of Public Relations of the Banten Police, Kombes Pol. Shinto Silitonga, explained that the perpetrators surrendered after the incident. Because, said Shinto, the casual daily laborer was afraid that the local people would judge him.

"The suspect NS, who is a casual daily laborer, turned himself in to the Pamarayan Sector Police shortly after the incident. He was afraid of being judged by the masses because he was caught killing his wife," Shinto said in a written statement, Wednesday, July 27.

Shinto also explained the chronology of the killings. He said, before the stabbing occurred, the husband and wife (couple) had a verbal argument.

"At that time the suspect NS was going to work and asked the victim to prepare a meal. Meanwhile, his 5-year-old son was playing outside the house. However, the victim did not comply with the suspect's will to prepare food. There was an argument and a quarrel between the suspect and the victim in the kitchen," Shinto explained.

During the argument, the suspect immediately took a knife and stabbed his wife in the waist twice.

"During the altercation, the suspect took a knife that was on the kitchen table and then immediately stabbed him twice in the left waist until the victim fell down. Seeing the victim fall, the suspect again stabbed the knife repeatedly into the victim's back. And the last stab the knife was not removed so that it is still attached to the victim's back.

After killing his wife, the suspect immediately moved the victim to the TV room and fled.

"After that, the suspect moved the victim to the TV room and left. After a few minutes, the victim's child entered and asked for help from people around the house. The victim was taken to the Tunjung Teja Health Center and eventually died," said Shinto.

After examining the suspect, it was found that the suspect's motive for killing the victim was because he was suspicious of the suspect.

"The suspect's motive for doing this act is to be suspicious. The victim from a few weeks ago often carried his cellphone everywhere, be it to the kitchen, bathroom or while sleeping. So the last few days caused a fight or argument between the suspect and the victim," said Shinto.

The suspect was charged with Article 44 paragraph (3) of Law Number 23 of 2004 concerning the Elimination of Domestic Violence with a maximum threat of 15 years in prison.
