Not Given IDR 3 Thousand To Buy Cigarettes, 3 Teens In Medan Persecuted Their Friends To Death

MEDAN - The Belawan Police Criminal Investigation Unit team, Medan, North Sumatra, revealed a stabbing case that caused the victim named Erik to die on Jalan Pasar, Belawan Dua Village. In the disclosure, 3 perpetrators who were underage were arrested by the police.

Belawan Police Chief, Kompol J Naibaho explained, the three perpetrators have now been secured at the Belawan Police Headquarters.

"Three people (perpetrators) were arrested. The average perpetrators are 15 years old," explained Kompol Naibaho when confirmed by VOI, Tuesday, July 26.

Kompol Naibaho said that currently his party is still hunting for another person who is the main perpetrator.

"Then another perpetrator (still) DPO, he stabbed the victim many times until the victim died. The perpetrator who was DPO was an adult and had already been punished," he said.

He explained that the victim and perpetrator knew each other. This persecution was triggered by the perpetrators who were not happy because the victim was reluctant to give money.

"The perpetrator and the victim are friends. So the motive is that the perpetrator asked for Rp. 3,000 to buy cigarettes. But the victim was not given, so a fight broke out," he explained.

This incident was first discovered after the victim was found by residents covered in blood on Jalan Pasar, Belawan Dua Village, Medan Belawan District, Monday, July 18.

Commissioner Jefri Naibaho told reporters at the time that he confirmed the alleged murder.

"Yes, there was a murder," he told reporters.
