TNI Commander: Assembled Weapon Used By The Perpetrator Of The Shooting Of Kopda M's Wife In Semarang

JAKARTA - TNI Commander General Andika Perkasa said the shooting of Kopda M's wife used a homemade weapon. Now the culprit has been arrested.

"The weapons used are homemade weapons," said General Andika, at TNI Headquarters, Jakarta, as reported by ANTARA, Sunday, July 24.

The Commander explained that the police and the TNI had arrested five perpetrators, one of whom was responsible for providing firearms.

He emphasized that the maximum punishment would be Article 340, including Article 53 in conjunction with Article 340 of the Criminal Code, so that all articles that can be imposed are confirmed.

"We make sure this problem is handled proportionally," he said.

General Andika said his party was still looking for the victim's husband, Kopda M, who was still missing. Because all the witness testimony goes to the victim's husband.

"What is clear is that it will not stop, we have contacted various parties," he said.

As previously reported, the police arrested the executor of the shooting incident of Rina Wulandari, the wife of a TNI member in Semarang City, Central Java.

"A joint team from the Central Java Police arrested one of the shooters, the wife of a TNI member," said Semarang Police Chief Kombes Pol Irwan Anwar, in Semarang, Friday (22/7).

In addition, the police also seized a firearm which was allegedly used to shoot the victim.

However, Irwan has not explained the details of the identity of the perpetrators or the chronology of the arrests.

Rina Wulandari (34), the wife of a TNI member, was shot by an unknown person in front of her house, Jalan Cemara III, Banyumanik, Semarang City, Monday (18/7).
