Brigadier General Hendra Deactivated Due To Brigadier J's Case, Police Appoints Karowabprof As Acting Karopaminal

JAKARTA - The National Police appointed a daily executor (plh) for the position of Karo Paminal of the National Police Propam Division, after Brigadier General Hendra Kurniawan was deactivated in connection with the shooting case of Brigadier J.

The Head of the National Police Public Relations Division, Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo, said that the Karo Paminal daily executive would be filled with Brigadier General Anggoro Sukartono, who currently serves as Karowabprof of the National Police Propam Division.

"The appointment of Karowabprof Divpropam Polri as Daily Executor (Plh) Karopaminal Divpropam Polri," said Inspector General Dedi in a written statement, Sunday, July 24.

Appointment of Plh Karo Paminal based on the order of the Chief of Police Number: Sprin/2149/VII/KEP./2022 dated July 22, 2022.

Previously, National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo disabled two high-ranking officers and one mid-level officer in connection with the shooting of Brigadier J.

First, Inspector General Ferdy Sambo, who was deactivated as Head of the Propam Division. Second, Brigadier General Hendra Kurniawan was deactivated as Karopaminal. And third, Kombes Budhi Herdi Susianto was deactivated as the South Jakarta Metro Police Chief.

"To maintain independence, transparency and accountability, this evening the National Police Chief decided to deactivate two people. Deactivated Karo Paminal Brigadier General Hendra Kurniawan, the second deactivated was the South Jakarta Police Chief, Pol Kombes Budhi Herdi," said Inspector General Dedi previously.
