2 Santri At Pondok Pesantren Qurrotu Nafsin Tangerang Persecuted By Drunk Men

TANGERANG - Tangerang Police Kresek Polresta Banten Police arrested a young man with the initials MF (23).

The man from Mamuju, West Sulawesi, who lives in Renged Village, Kresek District, Tangerang Regency, was arrested for mistreatment of students at the Qurrotu Nafsin Islamic Boarding School, Renged Village, Kresek District on Wednesday, July 20. Tangerang Police Chief Kombes Pol Raden Romdhon Natakusuma explained the chronology of the incident. Initially, at around 11 pm, the male student victim with the initials SA (15), was on night duty at the Islamic boarding school. Suddenly the suspect came drunk and immediately started beating him. Victims who are still minors can not put up a fight. Then, one of the administrators of the KRM Islamic Boarding School (43) came to help the victim. The witness KRM held the suspect so that the SA victim could escape.

"However, the suspect managed to escape from KRM's grip. And the suspect then beat KRM until he had bruises on his lips. There were also 2 victims of the persecution, namely SA who was still a minor and KRM," said Romdhon, in a written statement, Friday, July 22. After committing the assault, the suspect just left. Meanwhile, the victim immediately reported the incident to the Kresek Police. Upon receiving the report, officers immediately pursued the perpetrator. "The next day on Thursday (July 21) the suspect was arrested at a location not far from the boarding school. The suspect was taken to the Kresek Police for further investigation." he said. For his actions, the suspect MF was charged with Article 351 of the Criminal Code with a penalty of 2 years and 8 months in prison. Not only that, the suspect MF was also charged with Article 80 of Law Number 35 of 2014 concerning Amendments to Law Number 23 of 2002 concerning Child Protection with a threat of 5 years in prison.
