BANDUNG - The attorney for the inactive Bogor Regent Ade Yasin, Dinalara Butar Butar, alleged that the main actor in the bribery case to the auditors of the West Java Representative Audit Board (BPK) was Ihsan Ayatullah.

"It is clear that Ihsan enriched himself by collecting money from everywhere, then only depositing part of the money to BPK employees," said Dinalara after a hearing on exception reading at the Corruption Court in Bandung, West Java, reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, July 20.

Ihsan Ayatullah is the Head of the Regional Treasury Sub Division at the Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency (BPKAD) of Bogor Regency.

He was named a suspect by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) along with seven other people for allegedly conditioning the Bogor Regency Government's financial statements to obtain an unqualified opinion (WTP) from the BPK.

Dinalara said that Ihsan's evidence of enriching himself with the "safety" mode for the BPK was contained in the inspection report (BAP) that the money collected by Ihsan reached Rp1.9 billion, while what was deposited was most likely incomplete.

"There is also wiretapping evidence from the KPK. Ihsan talked with his friend to collect the money from his crime using a separate bank account. This means that he had the intention of stealing," explained Dinalara.

Not ordered

According to him, since the KPK picked up Ade Yasin as a witness at his residence on April 27, 2022, until now there has been no evidence whatsoever stating that Ade Yasin ordered Ihsan to collect money from various parties.

"Even Ihsan himself in the BAP (minutes of examination) admits that Ade Yasin did not order him," said Dinalara.

Previously, Ade Yasin was accused by the KPK prosecutor of giving bribes of Rp. 1.9 billion to win the WTP opinion title.

KPK prosecutor Budiman Abdul Karib said the bribes were given to four employees of the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) who have also become suspects in the case.

"So it is seen as an act of continuing to give or promise something, namely giving money in the total amount of Rp. 1,935,000,000 to civil servants or state officials," said Budiman.
