Alhamdulillah! Fishermen Say Jokowi's Visit To Cirebon Brings Blessings, Direct River Dredge, SPBN Wants To Be Built

CIREBON - Fishermen in Bandengan Village, Cirebon Regency, West Java, stated that a visit to President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) last April had a big impact. Complaints expressed at that time began to be resolved.

"Thank God, after the President came here some time ago, what we conveyed was really resolved," said a fisherman from Bandengan, Mundu District, Cirebon Regency, Slamet in Cirebon, Antara, Tuesday, July 19.

Slamet said that before President Jokowi visited Bandengan Village, fishermen had difficulty going to sea, one of which was the silting of the river leading to the estuary.

Where the fishermen continued, Slamet, had to wait for the tide before going to sea, considering that the sedimentation was quite high.

"But now that the President has ordered it to be dredged, only a month of the direct visit has been realized," he said.

This condition, said Slamet, makes fishermen happy, because long-standing problems can be resolved quickly.

Meanwhile, another fisherman, Tohirin, said that apart from the silting of the river, fishermen at that time also asked for a Fisherman's Fuel Filling Station (SPBN) to be built.

Because all this time, continued Tohirin, fishermen have difficulty getting fuel to go to sea, especially when there is an issue of rising fuel prices, thus making fishermen have to buy it at the nearest shop.

"But thank God, in the future there will be SPBN, and yesterday there was land measurement," he said.

When confirming to PT Pertamina Cirebon area, SPBN for fishermen in Bandengan Village, Mundu District, and surrounding areas has been submitted, so it's just a matter of time.
