Brigadier J's Family Asks For A Re-autopsy, The Police Is Open And Asks To Submit A Request For Exhumation

JAKARTA - The National Police has invited the family of Brigadier J alias Nopryansah Yosua Hutabarat to apply for an exhumation or grave digging for justice. That way, later the body can be autopsied again.

"So communication with investigators, investigators is open and welcomes lawyers, family parties to carry out or file an exhumation," said Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo to reporters, Tuesday, July 19.

This request for exhumation must be submitted by the family to the investigator. The goal, as an administrative requirement in the process of investigation and investigation

"This is in accordance with the commitment of the National Police Chief that the investigation process will be carried out as openly as possible, as transparently as possible, and the investigation process must comply with the principles of scientific crime investigation, that is something that must be done," he said.

Inspector General Dedi said the family will hold a meeting with forensic medicine. During the meeting, all the results of the autopsy will be presented.

"Tomorrow, God willing, it will be finished in the afternoon, maybe (Brigadier J's family, ed) will receive an explanation from investigators and forensic medicine," said Dedi.

Previously, Brigadier J's family requested that the autopsy process be carried out again in a transparent manner. Because, there are allegations that the process is under the control of certain parties.

"The information we got from the media has already been autopsied, but whether the autopsy is true or not because there are allegations that it was under control or influence, we don't know the truth," said the family's attorney, Kamaruddin Simanjuntak.

Because of this allegation, Kamaruddin requested that the autopsy process be repeated. Thus, the family knew the real cause of the scars all over Brigadier J.

"Could it be that the innards are no longer inside, we don't know, so we need a re-autopsy and a re-visum," said Kamaruddin.
