Government Opens Space For Input Of Derivative Regulations On Job Creation Through This Site

JAKARTA - The government opens up space for the public to provide input and suggestions in the preparation of derivative regulations from the Job Creation Law.

"In order to accommodate all the aspirations of the community and in line with the objectives of the creation of the Job Creation Law," said Coordinating Minister for the Economy Airlangga Hartarto in a written statement quoted by Antara, Sunday, November 8.

According to him, the Coordinating Ministry for the Economy provides a forum through the official portal of the Job Creation Law which can be accessed by the public on the network via the https://uu-ciptakerja.go.id page.

This portal is now accessible to the public and all stakeholders who will provide input or suggestions for the improvement of the Draft Government Regulation (RPP) and the Draft Presidential Regulation (RPerpres) as the implementation of the Job Creation Law.

Currently, continued Airlangga, there are nine draft RPPs that can be downloaded in full by the public through the official portal of the Job Creation Law. He said the preparation of the RPP and RPerpres would be transparent and involve the active participation of all components of society.

In addition, all relevant ministries / agencies, in a coordinated manner, will also conduct socialization, publication and public consultation on the substance and material of the draft RPP and RPerpres.

The government is currently finalizing all draft implementing regulations in the form of a draft RPP and a draft Presidential Decree.

According to the results of the joint inventory of all related ministries / agencies, there are 44 implementing regulations for the Job Creation Law, consisting of 40 RPPs and four Draft Perpres.

Currently 19 ministries / agencies that are responsible for the draft RPP and RPerpres together with more than 30 other ministries / agencies are completing the preparation of these 44 implementing regulations.

The Coordinating Minister for the Economy added that the Job Creation Law aims to create jobs and encourage business improvement by providing various facilities, protection and empowerment, as well as various business incentives, both for cooperatives and MSMEs as well as corporations and national industries.

Through this Job Creation Law, it is hoped that it will be able to support efforts to restore the national economy which is currently being carried out by the Government in the face of this COVID-19 pandemic.

In addition, continued Airlangga, through the Job Creation Law it is also aimed at preparing the Indonesian economy so that it is able to immediately rise up and in the medium to long term increase the competitiveness of the Indonesian economy amid global competition.
