In Front Of 900 Babinsa Of Jambi Province, Army Chief Of Staff Dudung Promises To Improve Welfare

JAKARTA - Army Chief of Staff (KSAD) General Dudung Abdurachman promised to improve the welfare of the Village Trustees (Babinsa) who are at the forefront of dealing with community problems.

"I immediately propose to increase the welfare of the Babinsa throughout Indonesia, so that they can become a strong frontline in the future," Dudung said in front of 900 Babinsa throughout Jambi Province in Jambi, Antara, Monday, July 18.

One of the KSAD's efforts to make Babinsa prosper is to add uniforms by providing four sets of field clothes. So far, the Babinsa have bought their own field clothes.

"I don't want the Babinsa to buy their own clothes, so we will prepare four sets of clothes for the Babinsa, then housing and vehicles for those who work in the field," he said.

Babinsa, according to him, is the gate of the TNI because they are on the front line, dealing directly with the community. They have a high fighting spirit and a spirit of nationalism that does not fade and that is Babinsa's main capital.

"That's why I want the welfare of the Babinsa," Kasad emphasized.

Especially for Babinsa in Jambi, he said, they can oversee the food security program. Babinsa also has the main task of reporting quickly on the development of radical groups in collaboration with Bhabinkantibmas (Polri).

The Army Chief of Staff reminded them not to let the people occupy the palace like abroad. Babinsa which plays a role in assisting state security, he said, its activities must have a positive impact on society.
