JAKARTA - The organizers of the Jakarta Fair will prepare for the Jakarta Fair in 2023 twice. So before Eid and in a series of DKI Jakarta Anniversary.

Marketing Director of JI Expo Kemayoran Ralph Scheunemann said that seeing the enthusiasm of visitors from year to year to the Jakarta Fair or Pekan Raya Jakarta (PRJ), it was also prepared for Lebaran 2023.

"We will have the Jakarta Fair ahead of Lebaran for approximately 17 days, because we have six years of experience holding PRJs during Lebaran, and the enthusiasm is very great," said Ralph in Jakarta, Monday, July 18, quoted from Antara.

The Jakarta Fair before Lebaran is held no later than the regular Jakarta Fair which is held every June-July.

However, the Jakarta Fair which is usually held to commemorate the anniversary of DKI Jakarta will also continue to be held, with a shorter day duration than this year.

This year, the Jakarta Fair will be held for 39 days from 9 June to 17 July 2022.

"The 2023 Jakarta Fair will continue, but it is not possible for 39 days. Next year's Jakarta Fair will not be more than 34 days," said Ralph.

The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government noted that the Jakarta Fair 2022 product and entertainment exhibition event recorded a transaction value of Rp. 7.3 trillion for 39 days.

Based on the records of the organizers of the Jakarta Fair, in 2019 the transaction value reached Rp. 7.5 trillion with visitors reaching 6.8 million during 40 days of activity.

The exhibition was attended by around 2,500 participants with 1,500 outlets, with 35 percent of them being MSMEs.
