Six People Died In Single Accident In Jabiren, One Of Them Is A Former Official Of The Ministry Of Religion Of Central Kalimantan

JAKARTA - A single accident that killed six people belonging to the same family occurred on the Trans Kalimantan Road section, Sakakajang Village, Jabiren Raya District, Pulang Pisau Regency, Central Kalimantan, on Sunday morning.

One of the victims who died in the accident was the former Head of the Office of the Ministry of Religion (Kemenag) of Pulang Pisau Regency and once served as Head of the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion of Central Kalimantan Province, Masrawan. The victim currently serves as the Head of the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion of East Kalimantan Province.

"It is true that an accident occurred in Sakakajang village with six people dead," said Pulang Pisau Police Chief AKBP Kurniawan Hartono, quoted by Antara, Sunday, July 17.

Kurniawan said, his members were still working in the field to evacuate and record victims. Based on the provisional information obtained by the police in the field, explained Kurniawan, all the victims who died were related to the family.

He did not deny the victim data circulating in the short message group, but the police were still investigating and collecting data from the victim who had an accident around 07.30 WIB.

Based on circulating data, the victims who died in a single accident involving the Inova car Nopol KH 1326 BE on the Trans Kalimantan Road section, Sakakajang Village, Jabiren Raya District, Pulang Pisau Regency were Masrawan, Hilaliyah (Masrawan's wife), Mahfuzh (child), Mahfuzh's wife (son-in-law), son-in-law and son-in-law. Mahfuzh (grandson) and mother (in-law Masrawan).

Kurniawan revealed that the police are still conducting investigations related to the alleged single accident with quite a number of deaths.

Head of the TU Division of the Pulang Pisau Regency Office of Religion, Khairani, who was contacted after the accident, said the victim's family was still in discussions to determine where the burial of the victim, one of whom was Masrawan, who was also the former Head of the Head of the Ministry of Religion of Pulang Pisau.

Separately, based on information gathered, the Innova car Nopol KH 1326 BE containing a family group entered the ditch on the side of the road at around 07.30 WIB on the Trans Kalimantan Road, Sakakajang Village, Jabiren Raya District, Pulang Pisau Regency.

The car went into a muddy ditch so that the evacuation process could not be carried out quickly, under cloudy weather after one night of rain pouring down almost all areas of Pulang Pisau Regency.
