MAMUJU - The joint SAR team has stopped the search for fishermen who were reported missing since Saturday (9/7) in the waters of Cilallang, Majene Regency, West Sulawesi.

Head of the Basarnas Operations Section of Mamuju Regency Muhammad Faturahman, Friday night said, after seven days with no results, the joint SAR team finally stopped the search for the missing fisherman.

"On Friday evening at around 18.00 WITA or the seventh day after fisherman Bakri (41) was reported missing, the joint SAR team stopped the search operation with no results," said Muhammad Faturahman, quoted by ANTARA, Friday, July 15.

Muhammad Faturahman continued, based on the results of the analysis and technical evaluation of the SA operation and no signs of victims were found.

Based on the agreement between the joint SAR team and the victim's family and local authorities, the victim was declared missing, and the SAR operation was declared complete and it was agreed that it should be closed.
