SOLO - The Solo City Government has stopped the construction of residential residents on the land of the former Bong Mojo cemetery, following allegations of illegal buying and selling of land.

"It's a half-finished building, half-build stop kabeh," said Mayor Gibran Rakabuming Raka in Solo, Antara, Thursday, July 14.

His party will immediately find a solution for residents who have already bought land from these irresponsible people. "We will find a solution later, we will follow it up," he said.

Currently, the Surakarta City Housing, Settlement and Land Office (Disperum KPP) is mapping the location in the west side of the Bong Mojo area, which is land for Use Rights (HP) 71 and HP 62, Jebres Village.

In addition to mapping the location, the Surakarta City KPP Disperum KPP will also immediately collect data on residents who live in the area.

"We plan to re-collect data in the near future. The latest data in 2019 there were 200-300 buildings in the area, so we have to count again to determine which ones are in the HP 71 and HP 62 areas," said Head of the Surakarta City KPP Disperum, Taufan Basuki.

Related to this, the agency has coordinated with the local kelurahan and sub-district for socialization regarding the handling of illegal buildings in Bong Mojo on the west side.

For the current mapping, his party divides the western side of the Bong Mojo area into three different blocks, Block A is the area in the north, which is around the river, Block B is the southernmost area, while Block C is the middle area.

According to him, mapping is important to do to sort out the points or boundaries of HP 71 and HP 62.

"This is to make it easier for us to measure the location, because in Bong Mojo on the west side, there are no rigid (uncertain) boundaries. In this data collection we will also take an inventory of the population status of residents," he said.
